This week PAM will continue negotiations on new working conditions, especially with Palta.

Last week PAM and the employers’ representative, the Finnish Commerce Federation, approved new collective agreements for the commercial sector.

Intense negotiations continued in the facility services sector all through the weekend and yesterday the parties in the sector, PAM and Real Estate Employers, reached a negotiating result. Today the administrations of PAM and the employers’ federation examined the outcome, and both of them approved it.

PAM will begin negotiations with Service Sector Employers Palta on working conditions in the removal services sector on Monday 17 February, with the next meeting scheduled for Wednesday 19 February.

PAM will also be negotiating with Palta on working conditions for employees in the cinema sector (Tuesday 18 February) and the customer service and telemarketing sector (Thursday 20 February). Tomorrow there will also be collective agreement negotiations for technical staff at the Finnish National Opera.

PAM is still in intense negotiations with employers’ representatives in various sectors both on competitiveness pact hours and pay. You can give your support for the ongoing collective bargaining round by signing the online petition I'm In.

The first negotiations on new working conditions in the hospitality sector will be held in early March.
