Collective agreement negotiations continue this week with collective bargaining for smaller sectors
Several collective agreement negotiations are still ongoing. This week there will be negotiations among others on the working conditions of employees covered by the Avecra, amusement and theme park and call centre collective agreements.
Collective agreement settlements have been achieved for the retail, hospitality and facilities services sectors. The negotiating round is not yet over, however, as negotiations continue in a number of sectors.
On Monday 12 March negotiations will continue for amusement, theme and adventure parks. The collective agreement is universally binding and covers around 800 employees. Aspects of the text have been refined and a settlement on new working conditions is still being sought.
Negotiations on the company-specific collective agreement for train service personnel at Avecra Oy will continue on Tuesday 13 March to agree on the working conditions for around 200 employees. The negotiations have progressed and aspects of the text have been refined, but no settlement on pay has emerged round the negotiating table.
Last week there were also tough negotiations on working conditions for call centres. A difficult point in the negotiations at present is the employers’ aim of paying part of the pay rises on a company-by-company basis. Negotiations to find a settlement in this sector will also continue on Tuesday 13 March.
In addition, results are also expected this week on the collective agreements for technical employees at the Finnish National Opera and the Finnish National Theatre. These negotiations have already achieved results, but they have yet to be discussed with by the administrations.
