New mediation proposal in facility services sector labour dispute - answers on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The National Conciliator has presented a second proposal to settle the facility services sector labour dispute.
Service Union United PAM and the employers’ representative Real Estate Employers give their answers on Wednesday, 22 March 2023 at 10 a.m. The negotiation parties can either accept or reject the proposal.
If the National Conciliator’s proposal is accepted by both parties, the strikes in facility services sector are cancelled. If the proposal were to be rejected by either party, a two-day strike will begin on Thursday 23 March at midnight. That strike would cover about 25 000 workers at 16 companies.
PAM’s Executive Committee will convene to discuss the proposal.
