No progress in facility services sector negotiations - Monday last day of collective agreement
On Friday PAM and Real Estate Employers held negotiations about the terms of employment for facility services sector workers at PAM Head Quarters.
“We negotiated all day, but no progress was made. Negotiations continue on Monday, the last day of the collective agreement. If we don’t reach a solution on Monday, an interval without agreement begins”, says Collective Bargaining Specialist Jarkko Viitanen.
In an interval without agreement, there is no requirement to uphold industrial peace. Then there might be industrial actions such as overtime bans or strikes.
PAM’s Executive Committee will convene on Tuesday to assess the situation.
