PAM members to join JHL strike
PAM members working at sites affected by the strike announced by JHL and due to start on 22 October will join the strike. They will get strike pay via JHL.
JHL has announced a two-day strike lasting from 00.00 on 22 October to 24.00 on 23 October, because JHL does not accept the government’s planned law on termination of employment. The strike will affect cleaning, caretaking, catering services and leisure, cultural and sports services.
If PAM members work in a company affected by the strike, they will join the strike. It is the work that is the subject of the strike. JHL will pay members of the unions strike pay of 60 € a day. So PAM members can apply for strike pay from JHL according to their own guidelines.
