PAM’s Executive Committee to consider the result of the negotiations in the retail sector on Tuesday
The week gets underway with negotiations on agreements for pharmacies and the small Palta sectors. Most attention will be focused on Tuesday, when PAM’s Executive Committee will adopt a position on the result of the negotiations in the retail sector.
The overtime ban in the retail sector and the ban on accumulating a positive flextime balance ended last Friday 2 March, when a result was achieved in the negotiations for the retail sector. PAM’s Executive Committee will decide whether to accept or reject the result of the negotiations in the retail sector this week on Tuesday 6 March after it has been considered the same day by the Executive Committee’s auxiliary body, the retail Agreement Sector Commission. The other negotiating party is the Finnish Commerce Federation. The Board of the Finnish Commerce Federation will consider the result of the negotiations Wednesday 7 March. The result of the negotiations will only be announced after being accepted by both committees.
Negotiations will be held on the agreements for small Palta sectors on Monday 5 March. The negotiations concern photo products, special industry, bingos and the household appliance and equipment service and service machine sector, but not the copying and printing sector. Also on Monday there will be collective bargaining for PAM members in the pharmacy sector.
On Tuesday 6 March negotiations in the pharmacy sector may also continue during the day.
On Wednesday 7 March there will be negotiations for the amusement park sector and the call centre sector.
The small-sector negotiations will continue at Palta on Thursday 8 March.
Working conditions for Avecra train service personnel will be discussed on Friday 9 March.
Last week collective agreement settlements were approved for the hotel, restaurant and leisure sector and the facilities services sector. Go to the links to see what changes have been made to these collective agreements.
