The collective agreement negotiations for tourism, restaurant and leisure services continue
PAM and the employer's representative, the Finnish Hospitality Association MaRa, have been negotiating new working conditions since the beginning of September. The effects of the corona epidemic on sector workers and companies have reflected also the collective bargaining negotiations.
”Despite the difficult situation in the sector, the negotiations have proceeded in good ambiance. We have dealt with the text content in a productive way and also discussed the fate of the hours in the competitiveness pact”, says PAM's Collective Bargaining Expert Raimo Hoikkala.
”Still we are not done. The next negotiation is scheduled for next week. We will inform on how things proceed to our members through our web pages”, promises Hoikkala.
The agreement period was prolonged for the collective agreement in the sector due to the corona spring. The period will expire at the end of September. Around 85 000 workers and supervisors work ithin the collecive agreement.
