The mediation is starting this week for both the commercial sector and the facilities services sector

PAM started the mediation with Finnish Commerce Federation today, Wednesday. On Friday PAM is meeting the Real Estate Employers at the National Conciliator's Office.
In the mediation solutions are searched for the negotiation not. PAM's wish is to proced with genuine negotiations sectorwise with the employer's federations and to be ble to agree on the topics that has a meaning for each sector and not discuss based on the coordination requirements set by the Confederation of Finnish Industries.
The collective agreements for the commercial sector and the facilities services sector expired on January 31st, 2020, when PAM's Excecutive Committee broke off both negotiations due to no progress. The negotiations had been ongoing since early January within the sectors.
Monday February 3rd, PAM informed about the strikes starting in the commercial sector and the facilities services sector in week 8.
The mediation in the commercial sector continues on Monday February 10th and on Friday February 7 PAM meets the Real Estate Employers for the first time at the National Conciliator's Office.
