Last week, the Unemployment Fund received slightly fewer applications than in previous weeks. The flood of applications has been resolved, but processing times are still long.

Over the past week, the Unemployment Fund received 1.298 first applications. A first application is an application where earnings-related unemployment allowance is claimed for the first time or after a break of over 6 months.

During the week, the Unemployment Fund processed 1.893 first applications. Processing time for applications is currently 48 working days. The long processing time is due to the fact, that there are still a large number of first applications to be processed.

First applications take significantly longer to process than follow-up applications. Last week, the Unemployment Fund's service lines received 6.085 calls, of which 647 were able to be answered.

Applicants for earnings-related unemployment allowance should first try to find information on the Unemployment Fund's website and information about their own application in the fund's online service.

Each week we publish the number of applications received and processed the previous week. We also give the number of answered telephone calls from members and the current application processing time. We are collecting this data in one place to make it easier to see how the situation is progressing. Check here for more information.
