The Unemployment Fund has taken into use a new electronic application form
Instructions for completing the application have now been published on our website.
The information required for the application will continue to be the same as before, but the new application will guide the applicant better than the old application, said Jusa Kaarni, Unemployment Benefits Assesssor, on the new application, which was introduced on 16 November.
So what is different in comparison to the old application form?
-
The new application identifies the applicant's situation and directs him/her on the form.
-
In the application, the applicant does not have to choose between the first and the subsequent application.
-
If the application is not completed or cannot be completed, it is possible to save it as a draft and continue filling it later.
-
During the application period, you can now more clearly announce several different options for the same day, such as TE-services and working hours for different employers.
Clear instructions for filling in the new application can now be found on the Unemployment Fund's website
Application can be found here and instructions on how to fill it out here (in Finnish).
The e-services of the Unemployment Fund are constantly being developed to be even more user-friendly. Feedback on the new application form can be submitted via the Unemployment Fund's e-services.
