Voting for the Union Congress elections is ongoing – cast your vote today!

You now have the chance to help shape the future of the service industry as you and other PAM members elect new decision-makers for the Union. The voting period for the Congress elections began on 25 March and it will end on 8 April.

In the elections, members will choose their representatives for the three-day Union Congress, held on 4–6 June in Helsinki. At the Congress, the elected representatives will decide on matters such as PAM’s target programme for the coming four-year term. They will also elect the new president, as well as the Executive Committee and Council for PAM.

How to vote

1. Voting in the Union Congress elections takes place electronically. All PAM members who have paid their membership fees are entitled to vote.

2. Log into the voting service with your online banking codes or Mobile ID. If you have neither, fill out the form here by 2 April to order a username. We must verify your identity to make sure that nobody can vote more than once. After logging in, you will be able to see the candidates in your district on the left-hand side of the screen.

3. You can now search for your candidate and read through the background information they have provided in the candidate gallery. If you already know the number of your candidate, you can make your selection based on the number.

4. Once you have made your selection, click on “VOTE”. After this, the system will ask you to verify your candidate selection by clicking again. You will not be able to cancel your vote once you have clicked for the second time. After the confirmation, your vote will be cast and you will be able to log out of the system. Your vote is confidential: the voter’s identity cannot be connected to the vote.
