Welcome to join PAM!

PAM is a trade union, which has a growing number of members with a foreign background. Kuva: Rami Marjamäki.

Why should you join PAM? There are several reasons why you should join the trade union. Take a moment and listen to our members why they joined.

You can join Service Union United PAM if you work in a private service sector, such as: retail trade, tourism, restaurant and leisure services, hairdressing, cleaning services, property services and security services. Below some of our members tell why they joined.

A membership gives you security in working life
PAM negotiates collective agreements and pay levels, while safeguarding its members’ interests in the world of work. As a member you are entitled to support and advise, employment advisory services and legal assistance if necessary, splendid member benefits worth hundreds of euros as well as earnings-related unemployment benefits in case you lose your job. All member benefits are found here

Also student members can join. Sign up today for membership here. You will get a CityShoppari 2018 card when you join!
You can also join by calling 030 100 600, from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays, by printing out the online admission form and posting it to PAM or by visiting one of PAM’s regional offices.

The PAM membership fee is 1.5% of your gross pay – in other words, your earnings before tax. You can deduct PAM membership fees from your taxes. Student membership is free of charge if you do not have an earned income nor receive an allowance by the Unemployment Fund.

Join our PAM family, which consists of 230,000 members!
